Description

Exceptional pair of vintage mid century modern walnut nightstands by Baker Levitt Furniture, designed by Helen Hobey, c.1950’s! Somewhat of a trapezoid in shape, the fronts of these nightstands have a gentle angled slope, and the legs are oval in shape, very sweet little design touches that really show how high quality these are! A single drop front door opens to reveal a concealed storage area.

These are absolutely amazing little case pieces, with great walnut grain, and solid brass accents such as brass feet caps on the solid ovoid walnut legs, and a gently swooped solid brass bar handle on the door fronts.

They measure 18 1/4″ wide, 15″ deep and 25 3/4″ tall.

They are in excellent vintage condition as you can see in the photographs, with no chips, cracks, warping, etc… There are normal age appropriate signs of wear from the decades, minor scratches, scuffs, etc here or there. General wear to the brass elements. But overall these are just as stunning in person as they are in the photographs!
