Description
Beautiful solid brass fireplace tools after Fontana Arte, c.1970s. Fabulous mid century modern design, each tool is constructed of a solid brass bar that is bent into a diamond handle at the top. The base is heavy 3/4 inch glass with solid brass runners under it.
Measures 35″ tall, 9 1/2″ wide and 7 3/4″ deep.
The overall condition is good for it’s age, with normal wear and tear to be expected from a set of fireplace tools. Worn bristles to the brush, scratches to the brass finish on the shovel and brush head, etc… The glass base has a couple chips to rear corners that do not distract from overall appearance and are shown in the last two photo closeups.
