Description

Beautiful vintage mid century modern walnut tall chest / dresser by Baker Levitt Furniture, designed by Helen Hobey, c.1950’s! Louvered doors on top open to reveal a pair of concealed drawers, giving this piece a lot of functionality along with it’s undeniable style.

Fabulous walnut grain, and solid brass accents such as brass feet caps on the solid ovoid walnut legs, and a gently curved solid brass bar handle on the door fronts, match the brass runners that provide additional support to the legs.

It measures 47 1/2″ tall, 45 1/2″ wide and 20 1/4″ deep.

It is in very good vintage condition as you can see in the photographs, with the only significant thing to note being a smallish gouge on the left side of the upper case portion toward the back edge, as shown in the closeup in the second to last photograph. Aside from that, there are normal age appropriate signs of wear from the decades, light scratches, scuffs, etc here or there. General wear to the brass elements.
